طبق سنت هر ساله مراسم TGA یا The Game Awards برگزار شد و برندگان Game Awards 2020 (tga 2020)مشخص شدند. این مراسم شب گذشته با میزبانی Geoff Keighley برگزار شد و برترین بازیهای سال مشخص شدند.

در مراسم TGA 2020 تریلرهایی از بازیهای جدید برای اولین بار نمایش داده شد . همچنین افراد سرشناش صنعت سینما از جمله Keanu Reeves و چند تن دیگر نیز در این مراسم به معرفی نامزدها می‌پرداختند و صحبتهایی انجام دادند.

وی جی مگ: استودیو Supergiant Games که به واسطه ساخت آثار تحسین شده Bastion و Transistor شناخته می‌شود در جریان برگزاری مراسم The Game Awards 2018 در لس‌آنجلس از اثر جدید خود تحت نام بازی Hades رونمایی کرد.

به گزارش وی جی مگ، Hades به صورت یک بازی Rouge-Like توصیف شده که از اکشن سریعی برخوردار بوده و آرت‌ورک‌های آن به صورت دستی طراحی شده است. اثر جدید استودیو Supergiant Games با قیمت 20 دلار روی استور تازه تاسیس شده Epic Games به صورت دسترسی پیش از موعد برای پلتفرم PC قرار گرفته و قابل خریداری است. توسعه‌دهندگان Hades اعلام کردند پس از انتشار این بازی با محتویات مختلف به‌روزرسانی خواهد شد.
