به گزارش وی جی مگ، با نگاهی به تروفی‌های The American Dream می‌توان متوجه شد که برای آزاد کردن اکثر آنها نیاز به انجام کارهای عجیب و غریب نیست و تعداد زیادی از تروفی‌ها به واسطه انجام کارهای پایه و ساده در بازی آزاد می‌شود. برخی دیگر از این تروفی‌ها نیز برای آزاد شدن نیاز به انجام برخی کارهای خاص مثل خرید مهمات یا از بین بردن آیتم‌های مختلف دارند.
