وی جی مگ: بدون شک 2017 با وجود Zelda Breath of the Wild و Horizon Zero Dawn و هم‌چنین عناوین مستقل چون Cuphead سال برجسته‌ای برای صنعت گیم محسوب می‌شد. اکنون همایش GDC نیز بهترین عناوین خود را معرفی کرد و طی آن جایزه بهترین بازی سال GDC به Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild رسید.
