وی‌جی‌مگ: در حالی که سال 2018 به پایان رسید، بسیاری از محافل در حال معرفی کردن بهترین‌های سال هستند تا مشخص شود چه بازی بهترین عملکرد را در سال 2018 داشته. حالا باید The New York Video Game Awards را نیز به میدان رقابت برای انتخاب بهترین‌های سال اضافه کنیم. این اولین سالی است که این منتقدان بهترین بازی سال را انتخاب می‌کنند.
به گزارش وی‌جی‌مگ، منتقدان The New York Video Game لیست کاملی از نامزدهای خود را برای دریافت جایزه در انتهای ماه جاری میلادی را اعلام کردند. در این میان باید از بازی‌هایی مثل Monster Hunter World، Assassin’s Creed Odyssey و … یاد کرد. در بیشترین تعداد نامزدی، بازی Red Dead Redemption 2 شاهکار جدید راکستار نیز توانسته با شش نامزدی در بخش‌های مختلف عملکرد فوق‌العاده‌ای داشته باشد.
